Founded in 1954 in Ann Arbor, UMCU has grown from humble beginnings to become a leading Michigan credit union. Starting with just 12 members and $9 in assets, we have grown to proudly serve over 119,000 members statewide and manage more than $1.3 billion in assets. We continue growing from our Ann Arbor headquarters to branches and services across Metro Detroit and Michigan.
